Litigation Inspections

Litigation inspection requests usually come from fellow attorneys or clients that are looking for a licensed professional inspector. Because inspectors are not required to be professionally licensed in Georgia, it is very hard to find an inspector/inspection firm with the needed credentials that will stand up in court.

Welch Engineering, LLC is the top choice in Georgia because clients want the most professional inspector they can find with the experience and professional licenses needed to address their issues.

As the President and General Counsel of Welch Engineering, LLC, Glenn Welch, Esq., P.E. is the likely choice for construction litigation cases in Georgia for many reasons. The top three reasons are experience, experience and experience.  Glenn has been in the construction industry for over 50 years including 4 years of electrical and HVAC experience in the US Navy during Viet Nam.

In addition to experience, Glenn is the only fully licensed inspector in the State of Georgia. He is the only person that holds all four licenses issued by the Secretary of State in Professional in Engineering, Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC. In addition, Glenn has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1980 and Welch Engineering, LLC is licensed by the State of Georgia and Cherokee County.

Numerous litigation inspections have been performed by Welch Engineering, LLC over the last 10 years including construction injuries, construction damages, faulty construction, mold, code violations and lightning damage.

The litigation inspection process is initiated by entering in to a Consulting Agreement, which requires a $500 retainer.
