Endownment Inspections
An endowment inspection is a specialized inspection that is usually required by colleges when someone dies and wills real estate to the college. The college needs to have the property inspected to determine the condition of the property and the possible insurance needs. Many of the colleges convert the property to rental property or use by the campus. An inspection helps determine the problem areas, possible liability issues and the options for the use of the property.
Welch Engineering, LLC has inspected farms, barns, log cabins, historic structures and commercial buildings that were left to local colleges.
Because Welch Engineering is licensed to perform inspections for residential and commercial structures, inspections have been performed for State Colleges like Kennesaw State University and Berry College, which has the largest campus in the USA and possibly the world.
